Obviously there are the big milestones to celebrate. Babies, birthdays, firsts, engagements, graduations and achievements.
But I also think we should celebrate the non-milestone birthdays (looking at you, 34) and the times everyone finally manages to get together just because.
Of course, you could just take photos on your phone. But then you might be having such a good time that you forget. Or maybe you don't want to be the person who's on their phone the whole time.
Our parents and grandparents would've had a camera with them, and nobody would've thought twice about it.
I think we deserve that too.
